ARNIE'S "VOLUNTEER IN ISRAEL"

There are many volunteer opportunities in Israel. From the north to the south, from infants to the elderly, from veteran Israelis to new immigrants - you name it, I can find it for you.

Before we begin, though, you need to answer a few questions, which will help determine your volunteer placement:

  • How's your Hebrew?
  • What type of population group and/or topic do you want to work with? (elderly, youth - ages?, immigrants - from where?, hunger, poverty, animals, survivors of terror, IDF soldiers, etc.)
  • Where do you want to do it? (a particular city, region of the country, etc.)
  • How long will you be able to do it for? (one time, a week, a month, etc.)
  • How long will you be able to do it during the time period you just mentioned above? (mornings, twice a week, 4 days a week, etc.)
  • Distance from where you are staying? (must it be walking, one bus ride, will you have a car, etc.)
  • Do you need help with accomodations? Almost no places these days provide housing, but let me know. If you do need, what price range works for you?
  • What do you NOT want to do?
  • For more details, please be in touch: Arnie Draiman - ajdraiman@gmail.com - 972-50-515-6776. For more information on actual places, see www.draimanconsulting.com/draiman_mitzvah_favorites.html.

Arnie Draiman

Quoting his mentor, Danny Siegel (www.dannysiegel.com), "Arnie is a master at 'Making Miracles Happen' - how money can change individual lives - and the better you are at it, the better your money can stretch to do it."

Mitzvah Heroes
by Danny Siegel:

"Mitzvah heroes are giants of Tikkun Olam - repairing the world. They are experts in this field because they are intensely involved in changing lives by small, medium, and large Mitzvah-deeds. It is because of their Tikkun Olam work that they have a profound understanding of the essence of caring, power-as-Mitzvah-power, and the nature of people as human beings."

"Mitzvah heroes are men and women of all ages, intelligence, educational background, religious affiliation, and economic status. All of them are inspired and inspiring and delightful to be with, individuals of the highest personal integrity, absolutely trustworthy, and all of them have one concern and one concern alone: that the lives of other people should and can be made better by their actions. People who meet them are universally struck by how authentic they are. Mitzvah heroes are the best-of-the-best human beings they have ever met."
